Does anyone know of a source from where to buy this power steering hose ? From pump to rack....I can not find it anywhere and mine is leaking very badly.

Audi Tradition has similar hoses but not the 893Q so you will have to get your's rebuilt. A local hydraulic hose shop should be able to do it. House of Hose in Spokane WA is familiar with UrS power steering/brake hoses and lots of UrS owners have sucessfully used them.

I feel bad throwing cold water on this, but I had my 4A1422893Q pump-to-rack hose rebuilt by SHOH and it did not work out. This is what I wrote at the time in the maintenance log: "SHOH hose sometimes vibrated when turning wheels, and also "danced around" violently at rack end". Visually, the work looked great, and they did keep the damper-whatever gadget in the hose at my insistence. I then bought a new hose from ECS tuning in August 2016 for $377, and it works correctly with no vibrations. The SHOH repair was under $100, so that's the worst you'll be out by trying it. (Hint if it's not obvious: Suck the liquid gold out of the reservoir before pulling the hose, or it all ends up on the floor). The j-hose is a different story: I had it repaired by SHOH 9 years ago and it's still OK. Just googleing, I saw two potential sources, one in German.
