Default A6/S6 rear differential, interchangeable? Kate shows same part #
however 4 different alpha indicators. Has anyone had a chance to check this out? I've been able to use some parts off the A6 from a scrap yard and am wondering if I should pursue the rear diff and some suspension parts. Thanks for your collaborative brains.

Biggest issue is it 4.11 to 1 or not. Some later C4 A6s were 4.39 to 1 (IIRC)

the automatic A6 uses the same diff. The 95 5-spd a6 has different final drive. BTDT
