ABS Light On... '93 URS4
From what I understand, this year's ABS codes can't be read through the black/white diagnostic connectors. I heard there's a dedicated Audi black box that hooks up between the harness connector and the ABS control unit. Does anyone have access to one of these, or is there a shortcut?

Try this. It's cheap.

Questions:
Have you adjusted the wheel sensors recently - they could need to be pushed in a bit.
Bad CV boot? Grease can get into the splines on the over joint - ABS uses these to calculate wheel speed. |

My 91 200TQ had an ABS light on. It turned out to be a fuse by the ABS switch (yep it was in the dash).

Re: Questions:
Sorry I haven't been able to get back to the computer 'till now. I have the Bentley Manual, and already have checked all the sensors individually, where they terminate at the gang plug for the control unit. The ohm reading will also "bounce" slightly as each wheel is turned. Adriano, I will also try the relay. Where does it go? Left or right kickpanel maybe? Thanks, mb
