Default Blower Motor, Heater Core & Timing Belt

I've finely decided to replaced my squeaky blower motor on my 95.5 S6 (145K miles) after tolerating it for the past 2 summers. I have read Fred Munro's Oct. 16, 2006 DIY on this repair (actually have the puller tool made) but have a couple of questions...

1. Assume I should purchase an OEM blower motor rather than one from the aftermarket. Besides going to the dealer, any thoughts on were one can be obtained?
2. While things are "opened up" for blower motor replacement should I consider replacing heater core as a preventive measure? Have a couple of DIYs (by ThetaTau87 dated 6/1/2009 & by kinderutz dated 10/20/2009). To date car is not exhibiting an symptoms of coolant leaks from the heater core. Coolant was last changed on 1/24/2013 at 141K miles.

In regards to timing belt, it was last changed on 9/12/2006 @ 120,000 miles. Techs that have looked at its condition report that it looks "good". Any opinions regarding replacement (coming up on 10 years old).

In advance, thanks for the help & responses.

Both OEM from dealer, they gave me a price break. Or order from genuinevwaudiparts.com

You can pry it up easily with some string and a couple short 2x4s on the strut bar.

I would definitely replace the heater core at the same time.

eta - 10 years is really starting to push it, 6ys/60k being typical. I factor in # of heat cycles somewhat. I didn't crank my S6 for lots of short daily stuff, getting it hot/cold multiple times a day. Instead it drove 50+ miles a few times a month, and got hot/cold maybe 10-20 times a month.

When I did my timing belt in 2010, it was magically and surprisingly 10 years old (oops) The belt was 100% fine but I did it anyway to be safe.

Heater core: You will want to save and read this: http://12v.org/urs/C4UrSHeaterCoreRe...ntDIY_Rev1.pdf

OK, I've ordered the blower motor & heater core from my dealer, should be in by later in the week.

In regards to the timing belt found these kits:
a. ECS Tuning ( https://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-C4_S6...ing/ES2817113/ )
b. Blauparts ( Audi S6 Timing Belt - Audi S6 Timing Belt Kit - Enhanced )
Are these worth considering? I suppose some of components in these kits are aftermarket rather than OEM (odd that the amount of coolant supplied with these kits is different). Any thoughts on these kits?

In advance, Thanks for thoughts & insight.

Timing belt was my next task had I not sold the S6, so never did one. Seems some kits came with an Italian parts/water pump that people were skeptical of.
