I am having lots of issues with finding parts for my car. I have a C4 S6 4.2 4A Avant.



I need the tie rods for the front and they are really in bad shape. But I can not find the parts that I need. I imported the car from Germany to Canada.



I did not get them because they are not made anymore. They are

4A0 419 802 E

4A0 419 801 E



They are the assemblies that have the bend in them. I can not get the straight ones but they do not fit the car as they are meant for the 2.2. It would be great if someone can help me find them or have some ideas.



I am looking for the transmission mounts:

4A0 399 420L

4A0 399 419L

Someone said I can use the 4A0 399 420E, 4A0 399 419E. Is this true?

Interesting. I have a 1994 S4 V8 6 spd avant in Vancouver BC. Probably the only one in Canada (and NAmerica). Yours might be the only C4 S6 V8 in Canada. I know of one S6 Plus V8 avant in Montreal so definitely a small group. Mine is very low mileage so tie rods are not worn out (yet). I did need a clutch and I had to import a Sachs kit from Germany (over Christmas 2013 lots of fun - NOT).

I will work on your issue later this AM. In the meantime, you should join the S2 Forum. There are a few folks there with C4 V8s and they might have better ideas. In the short term, there should be tie rod ends that you can find - you don't need the complete tie rod (with the lovely bend).

Okay, I'm back from my 6:30 AM exercise class (Ooof). Your numbers are correct. BUT as I suggested you like don't need the whole thing. Just the outer tie rod ends, items 3 in the parts diagram

A quick search on the right one (for example) show up a bunch of options. I would go for the TRW one from FCP Auto. We don't like the parts made by the "M" people.

False. All those numbers are wrong (subframe mounts, not transmission mounts).

The CMG 6 spd transmission mount is 4A0399151L but it is very close to the 4A0399151C which is available in NAmerica.

Hello Mate, that is right. You can use these parts. They are quite identical in relation with 4A0399419/420L!
The spare part ending "L" is an expensive surcharge for V8-Drivers.
