Brake Servo Failure?

Brake Servo Failure?
The liquid seeping slowly down my brake pedal is coming down the actuator rode of the brake servo I think. It has stopped leaking for the time being. I compared the liquids and it is not brake fluid it is hydrolic fluid. Many have hinted this could also be the master clutch cylinder, but would the liquid not follow the clutch pedal, and I have no clutch issue. The brake bomb seems to work fine, at least 30-40 pumps before it hardens.
I am keeping my chin up high I know it is the joys and responsibilities of owning this car.
Thus can I get this part for less than 700$+ and how long can it tough out before full failure.
PS all my vital fluids are at good levels and the brake light comes on at the start up of the car and stays on for about 30sec and then never comes on again.
Is there anything I am missing.
Thanks for the input. I have read about all the threads but nothing seems to point 100% accurately towards one problem or an other. So I back on the board.

Re: they do sometimes go bad
Thanks for the heads up. Makes me feel better knowing that at least our two cars have something in common. Seeing how well regarded you are in the community.
Cheers.
Cheers.
