Default getting some wheel vibrations at speeds excess of 70mph, slight but I feel it in
wheel and through car.

complete tie-rods are new within last 6 months.

where do I suspect this demon to live?

Default Clean wheels of all mud etc and rebalance. Then check back. Look in the ...
inside of the wheel for mud, debris, etc. that is throwing your wheel/tire balance off.
