Hello all.
I'm a recently new owner of a 1992 audi 100 c4 platform v8 s4 quattro avant.
it's been running fine for the past 5 months that i have had the pleasure of driving in it, but yesterday when i went to work (about 120km. 75mil.) It all of a sudden started to smoke A LOT. with a white very light blue smoke that smelled of oil.
But here comes the real problem. !!
It only smokes a lot when rpm's is under 1800 there is no valve ticking or any other strange sounds when engine is runnig, it runs fine when over 1800 rpm's but under that it sounds like its not firing like it should on all 8 cylinders, it has a uneasy idling "engine wobbels a bit".
Anybody have a bright idea to what my problem is ???
I thought about a broken head gasket but whouldn't that show in the coolant water?? it hasen't used any or there isn't any oil in there either.!
By the way it has the engine code ABH.

Not sure if you are in NAmerica or not. Regardless, you probably should post your question on an Audi V8 website. All the UrS4s and UrS6s here are the 2.2L inline turbo 20V five cylinder engines. No V8s.
