Around $1400 in 1.5 years and only made it more stock along the way. Bought with 112k, now has 125k.

were the big ones, add tie rods and other random parts and hours of labor and oil changes. I understand why most dont want to add it up, being a student I should not be knowing his info either:( but all in all its a great car and subtracting mod costs the car maintanance is only about 1000 per year except for the clutch job.

at end of year local shop added up customer expenses, I was in the top 10 for most spent, ouch. Elijah Allen came in first

you could be right. Odd thing was I had a choice of 5000 Turbo quattro for $26K (in 1986) or the $13K Carat. I guess I really wanted the 5000 tq because I bought its grandchild, the UrS4. Really odd, now that I think of it, I paid $26K for the UrS4 in 1998. Hmmm....
