Default info on busings for Hap bar

I need to know what bar bushings you guy's use for the hap bar.
I seen some talk of Powerflex bushings..is that correct?
& I tried to look over Daves FAQ page.

Default So the OE 17mm bar bushings work???

Default Put your bar on the back of my v8 5spd.

I got everything but the rubber bushings, &amp; thought I heard some using Powerflex Poli bushings?? Or something.

Default I have never replaced these...

They are sourced by my very slow fabricator. I can check to see if he's got any. No telling when you'd get them. They are urethane BTW.

Default yes you are rite....

..but there's a gap. The bushing doesn't cover the whole bar. I want the whole thing incased.

Default I'll look around Hap...

...I maybe able to find something closer than the OE rubber bushings, somewere.

I hogged out the OE ones..but they don't cover the whole bar. Did I hog out too much..or???
