Wow, that looks much better. Any experience?

I hope to God you're relocating the fuel filter.....
considering it's now like, 4 inches from the hotside.
|
That *is* evil. I like it. Very clean. Is your headlight going to pop right out for the track?
...and flow directly to the filter? I coupled my Xenons on the UrQ to the housing so all I have to do is pop out the headlight for nice flow, although the routing of the filter proved more difficult w/ my setup, so it doesn't take full advantage of that orientation. :( We're trying to rework the solution now. May go with the RR airbox, eventually. The SQ hood will drastically reduce underhood temps, though, and the increased flow should be evident.
I'm excited to see what the GT35 yields in terms of a powerband. I'm shooting for full boost at 3400, myself, with the K26/27 hybrid. Best of luck. Seems as if the two projects are on par to be finished at about the same time. It'll be fun to compare. Cheers, |
did you notice all the extra fab work to make it fit that adapter off the end doesnt come with the
manifold, new downpipe, wg, intake intercooler piping, should completely relocate the fuel filter to avoid explosion
|
no need for a maf if you know the right tuner or your tuner knows code well
|
Depends,,,
If I do lower gear pulls, it starts to build around 3000 rpm with full boost about 3800 rpm. If I do 5th/6th gear pulls, what I prefer, then I've got about 12psi at 3000 rpm with full boost at 3500 rpm. That's only 300 rpm above the 57 trim T04E.
Hap, wit dakine boost info from Evahboost |
