Hi Guys,

Newbie here, from Cape Town, South Africa, buying my first Audi 'S' car in the next two weeks, have the urS4 in my Avatar in mind. I have had no previous experience with these vehicles, so please, any info is appreciated.

I will be looking at adding some power to my car, as I do want to compete in some drag and track events with it from time to time. The car is bone stock at the moment apart from a K&N filter in the standard airbox, and the turbocharger is from a RS2 Avant. I am planning a turbo swop (have Garrett GT3582 in mind), bigger injectors (RS2 ADU), bigger fuel pump, adjustable FPR, stronger conrods, possibly a 7A exhaust cam (will it fit?) and obviously some aftermarket programmable ECU to pull this all together. I am looking at making about 400HP.

My question is this... how much HP can the standard urS4 Quattro gearbox and drivetrain safely take? I would like to drive this car on public roads between competing with it, not as my daily drive, but weekends etc, so would dearly like not to have to pull the gearbox after every time I do a hard pull away from standstill.
