Microsuede headliner project completed.
The comments on how this is like having your parent get devoriced are dead on. I feel like I am visiting the other half, having to post things on both sites.
So here it is. I don't know how many hours it took. It's probably in the area of 10-15. It is a very nice and very realalistic microsuede fabric on top of polar fleeceused for padding. This makes for a VERY plush and realalistic feel .I did the headliner the A, upper B and C pilars. C pilars were the hardest. Grab handle pockets were also difficult as was the sunroof contol panel area. Should all be installed this weekend. I'll post better pics when I get my real camera back from repairs. http://photos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...53_5955138.jpg http://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...55_2570890.jpg And with a click of a button two pictures are posted. I like that. But still not yet a fan of the format...even in threaded view. We'll see : ) |
Very cool project.
