I canīt find the thread but someone suggested this could be fuel pump related. Engine catches up every time, but in a matter of one or two seconds rpms go up to about 2,000 then smoothly go down and engines stalls. I repeat that 5 to 10 times and all of a sudden the rpms firm up and the engine runs perfectly all day long, even restarting with no issues.
Anyone experienced that before?
Thanks in advance

I don't know who said fuel pump. Based on today's clues, I would say the N71 idle stabilization valve (ISV), either not working properly (dirty) or broken or disconnected or ...?
During this, did you get a Check Engine Light (CEL)? If so, did you pull the codes? All you need is a metal paper clip and the ability to count to 4 (several times)

More about the ISV by clicking on the link below and then clicking on the appropriate label (all the labels are live links to more info) (I use this daily when trying to help people diagnose their UrS issues):

No CEL. Iīll check ISV. Canīt wait for the chance of fixing this just by cleaning something in the car! Usually it takes a hit on my credit card and 45+ days waiting for the parts to clear customs. Not funny...
Thanks, Iīll report back
