Prices for used S6 Avus wheels?
I have a set of 6-spoke Avus wheels (16 x 7.5) off of a 1995.5 S6, which I have been using as my winter wheels, but no longer have a use for. (I switched to all-season tires - it doesn't snow enough where I live [DC area], or where I most frequently visit [NY].) I intend to sell 3 of them, since I use one for my spare tire. If anyone can provide me advice on realistic asking prices for them, given their condition, I would appreciate it. Their condition is as follows:
1. Good condition, with some superficial curb rash.
2. Superficial curb rash, and slightly bent on the "inner" side.
3. Superficial curb rash, and bent slightly worse on the same side.
The bent wheels created a slight vibration at highway speeds if mounted on the front, but did not create any problems when mounted at the rear. (I drove them this way for several years.) My mechanic told me that both can be straightened without much difficulty.
Any advice would be appreciated. I can post photos if it would be really helpful.
