Prove it.
Out at lunch.
Pull up to a light, first in line on the left. Up on my right pulls a DSM product - Eclipse, maybe. I had watched him in the rear-view, and saw the prominently-displayed FMIC. I smiled a little. As he pulls up, I hear the bass over my own stereo playing Audioslave. (I, on the other hand, am an Audi-slave.) Light goes green, and he jumps on it hard. I amble away from the light, look at the oil temp gauge, and see it's off the peg. OK, here we go... He must of been damn surprised when I pulled even, 'cuz he tried to shift and pull some more. But I already had it at 3200 rpm, and 5 psi, or so, so when he surged, I hit it at WOT. I didn't have the guts to do double the limit, so I backed off at 85. After the Leavenworth trip, this is the first time I've really hit it hard on the street. I think I had him beat, but only because of his ill-timed shift. He'll have to work harder next time to prove that sh!t. |
Haha, nice. Pullman Street Racing FTW!!! WOOT!
Is tonight do-able? Also, what time am I coming over tomorrow to paint?
