Spent the 4th finishing up the Sport wheel installation and...

The wheel feels and looks great, (the standard 94 S4 wheel was butt ugly) had to replace the clock spring, stalks, and covers, but its done. If you want a complete (except for the wheel) conversion kit, Alex at Europrice can hook you up. I opted for a non-airbag cover and saved $300-$500.

Nice job, well done !
Is the "faux Carbon Fiber" the film that covers the original trim? or ? and is that the TT shift knob? (I like it...). I bought a Conrero one 2 years ago and it's falling apart... :-(

Looks good. Note: for the boost gauge pillar pod, I painted mine to match Ecru. Looks good.

Re: Nice job, well done !
The Carbon fiber is the film. It sticks well and can stretch around corners if you heat it slightly with a hair dryer. I was lucky. I found the TT shift knob in my glove compartment along with an Audi 6-speed knob when I bought the car.

Good idea.

airbags are worth far more than 3-400 IMHO - the life you save might just be your own...
|
I dsiconnected my airbag. I don't trust it's 13-year oldness.
|
Silly
You'll mod up and drive a 13 year old car, and expect its brakes stop you, the steering system to change your direction, the body to protect you and they're all 13 years old too.
But to each his own. I can understand the concern, I just don't share it. |
My friends 13 y/o air bag saved him in his '90 90 last year.

Not sure what film you used, but Folia-Tec makes a nice one...
Never used it, but it looks good.<ul><li><a href="http://carstyling.azoshop.com/shu_shop_en/index.php?kid=27&id=208&oka=3|3|5|27|& s=1&sid=3cd581c6018e37b43011396bba2d396b">http ://carstyling.azoshop.com/shu_shop_en/index.php?kid=27&id=208&oka=3|3|5|27|& s=1
