Weird issue with my boost gauge, please advise.

When I turn on my lights in the car the boost gauge illumintates but after about a minute I loose the illumination. What would cause this?

your car is broken sell it to me for 5 pesos!

In all seriousness that is fricking odd maybe check the connections where you spliced in the power for the lighting hell i dont know.

Your hot lead is the "brake" light display wire in the Autocheck panel?

Honestly, I have no idea, but I would imagine the power lead for the backlighting is somehow wired incorrectly.

2nd.

I'd get the hot lead off of wherever you have it, and connect to the panel under the steering wheel.

Pull the boost gauge illumination from the hot side of Fuse#7.Small green wire with yellow stripe.

Did you ever get a chance to find that door moulding for me?

Mr.FRU-T-Pants 03-10-2007 07:57 AM

I'm sorry, I completely spaced on it.

I know it's the middle trim, but remind me of which door(s) you need, and whether it's S6 or S4.

Cheers,
Patrick

S6 passenger front door.

Mr.FRU-T-Pants 03-13-2007 05:27 AM
