Heya, folks! Michael here from the front page editorial team... I'll be joining Audi in two weeks for a Q4 e-Tron media drive event. It should be similar to my S8 first drive review, in that we'll only have vehicle access for a few hours. So longer-term things like range tests probably won't happen. That said, are there any things you'd like me to check out while I have hands-on time with the vehicle?
And, is there anything you'd like me to ask Audi engineers, a/o product specialists, directly?

Yeah. When can I order one? Why arent there more colors. Why aren't they making Prestige level cars. Are they going to lower the price since rebates are not available.
Oh, and why does Audi insist on complicating their supply chain and manufacturing just to put less-safe red turn signals on their cars for North America?
Do they plan on modifying their software to NOT turn off the car whenever you put it in park? How do the Germans get their mail otherwise? Do they not stop by their box with their car prior to going home?
I have my Q4 for almost 3 weeks now. It's a nice car and just OK compared to my wife's Volvo XC40 Recharge. The AR HUD is cool, but it only works with MMI navigation which is frustratingly slow and not very good at responding to voice commands. So I wish they'd take advantage of other CarPlay API features: 1) Support EV routing with CarPlay and Apple Maps.
2) Show CarPlay navigation in the Dynamic Cockpit and HUD Ford can do (1) and BMW can do (2). Why can't VW/Audi do it?
Software, software, software. When will Audi ever implement some sort of dynamic software updates. Camp mode for all e-trons so that we can run the AC for longer periods of time? Even Rivian managed to push it. Plug and Charge? Just to name a few software issues we are still facing.
myAudi ap? When is it going to deliver the long promised new etron interface and really give us detailed information about our cars? API access to the car's computer on the move?
Dynamic charging screen which will show the next NAV waypoint and the SOC required for departure. The time required to charge is useless. What if I end up on a slower charger? I pulled in and it said charge for twenty minutes assuming I was at a 150 kW charger, but in fact the charger is only charging at 121kW. So what SOC do I need to achieve? Why is that not displayed on the charging screen?

Will the 2023 model have real matrix headlights like what is on the European cars? That is will the lights blackout the area around oncoming cars and show the car's tire tracks on the pavement.
Also, how many cars may be coming to the USA this year.
