12volt remote start solution instructions needed
So this would be my 2nd post to this forum but I joined a long long time ago and always searched for the info I needed. I'm on my 2nd Q8 that I just picked up and a friend of a friend gave me his remote starter kit from his old Q8. I know its pnp but I just wanted to see if someone has instructions and would be willing to send me a copy. My email is buurcise001@hotmail.com. Much thanks.

You could probably just contact 12voltsolutions and get the instructions directly from them. If not you can’t, head over to the iDataLink website, as the 12volt remote start is a simply rebranded version of the iDataLink units.

Thanks, I tried but was told since I didn't purchase it from them they will not send me the instructions. Anyway I finished installing it took about 30 mins since the main unit was already programed for a Q8. This morning I had the third key programed at Audi and everything works great.
