Default 2022 RS Q8 - NO vehicle jack and spare tire.

My beautiful RS Q8 arrived on the last day of November and.... with summer tires (standard brakes, 22" wheels). It took a month to get set of 22" wheels/tires. In preparation to replace summer for winter set of tires I realized my car does not have spare tire and equipped with the "Tire mobility kit". I did not find the vehicle jack as well as wheel bolts cap remover. When I came for installation of winter set of tires, I asked the service advisor about the cap remover and the vehicle jack. I received cap remover (plastic one...) and was told that my car does not need the jack because it equipped with The Tire Mobility Kit and I don't need to lift it. I am still trying to digest the answer... And I am trying to verify - is it true and 2022 RS Q8 model with the Tire mobility kit is not equipped with vehicle jack? Not a lot of sense , in my opinion... Can anybody check the cargo area of for me, please.
Thank you.

Same case for my 2022 RSQ8 and my 2018 RS7 both with tire mobility kits and no jacks. Though one could be bought and placed in the cargo area if that's what you'd like. Doesn't make much sense to have one since you still don't have a spare tire to replace the flat tire with.

You can buy spare wheel with folding tire (4M8601010B or A) and jack. You will have also to replace the styrofoam inlay of the trunk.

Thank you for your responses. I can not follow AUDI logic... It does not provide the jack to lift the car and to take wheel off... BUT AUDI provides the wheel wrench... Without jack it's useless... Not too much sense for me.

on the bright side that's one less thing you have to purchase if you want a spare tire

My 2017 Q7 also has 4-wheel steering and air-suspension and consequently no room for a donut spare, so was supplied without one and also no jack. For long road trips I always load up with a full-size spare wheel with tire and an hydraulic jack. It eats into cargo space but it's the only way to avoid getting stuck in the middle of no-where and having to rely on AAA who can only tow you somewhere. Of course Murphy's Law means I've never had a problem since I've been doing this, and equally if I do have an issue in the future it will probably be 2 flat tires and I'll be back to square one!

The US version of Q7 is 7 seater and therefore there is no space for a spare wheel. In all variants of Q8 (except TFSI-e) you can have a spare wheel as an extra option.

So I can order a donut to replace the 23 inch wheels for my in-bound 2022 RS Q8 that will fit under the cargo floor?

Yes, it is a folding spare wheel. It's tire grows when inflated.

Many thanks, is there a part number for the Styrofoam insert that will need to be replaced?
