Anyone like the White Year One?

I currently have an Infiniti FX35 with the Sheer Platinum paint, which was almost a $2k addition when I got it due to it's level of metallic in the paint. This thing is gorgeous. 11 years later I can still see this thing from way down the street. Nothing like it. I've looked at a couple q8 colors and was leaning toward one of the darker grey colors, but they seem to vary a lot in color depending on the light. Dealer didn't have the lighter grey color but thought there was one in the service lot when I checked them out on a Sunday. By the time I saw it the sun was going down, but in a lot of ways the grey looked like it had blue tints to it. Family likes the White Year One with the black accents but don't really see anyone going that path. Anyone get a white q8 and thoughts on it?

Thanks.

why would their thoughts matter? its gonna be your car so make a decision

Lol, I thought when I opted not to have a family I could do what I wanted but somehow my mother after all these years still seems to have a lot of opinions and likes the white. :)

I went with Navarra and 1st Year and I'm really happy about it. It seems as though there are a lot of Navarra Q8's based on the number of posters on here with them but I think its because its more of an enthusiast color/decision and this is definitely an enthusiast site . If I were to pick something else, it would be Silver first, then White, both with the 1st year. pkg That being said, There are already a few white or silver ones in my area. I totally understand your thoughts. Its a really tough decision. Why not get one of each?!?!

I also love the Navarra Blue, BUT you might want to take a look at Daytona Gray Pearl. My previous car (A6 TDI) was Daytona Gray, and I loved it. In the sun you can really see the pearlescent effect.

I had a Daytona S8. I loved it. You really can't go wrong with any of the colors(except galaxy blue imo). Daytona has become more common for dealer stock orders. It really depends if you're looking for something more exclusive. If I could do it again, I might order an exclusive color like atlas or nardo with 1st year for the Q8.

I love white vehicles and always consider white. I loved the ibis and glacier whites. In my search i came across a dealer that ordered a Nardo gray with year one prestige. It looked amazing on the floor especially with every other car in the showroom being white. I left to ponder my choices and when he called to follow up i asked what the cost would be for that vehicle and he told me the person who came in after me left a deposit on the car and ultimately took it. Nardo looks incredible on this vehicle.

That said I’m going Daytona gray with black interior and the eucalyptus brown wood to break it up a bit and a black cloth headliner if I pull the trigger.

I think Daytona is awesome. Light enough to show off the cars lines and dark enough to shine like a pearl when all cleaned up. But that’s my opinion and you should get what you want.

Good luck.

I may be biased, but I love the white in year one package. The contrast compliments the vehicle very well.

I was torn between Navara blue and Glacier white. For me, black was WAY too much work to maintain (but amazing when clean) and gray is VERY classy but a bit boring in certain conditions. I feared the awkwardness of the front grill in a light color, but still went with white. I'm obviously biased, but I think it looks perfect! White with Y-1 makes the car look extremely sporty yet still classy, and it's probably easiest to maintain besides gray. You really can't go wrong with the Y-1, looks great with any color...but if I were to buy this car again 10 more times, I would still get it in white all 10.
