Audi Beam - Rings?
 

What is Audi Beam? Is that when it shows the Audi rings on the ground when you open the doors? I see it on some cars for $450 and can't manually configure that piece so not sure how it's getting on cars when you can't select it from the website. This is in the US.

Installed at the port. See options. Also available aftermarket, much cheaper.

Get the ones that say Quattro. Different and kool.

I have the Quattro lights too. They're no longer available.

I ordered my Q8 with them and it arrived with the rings. I was told the Quattro lights were discontinued. Fortunately the dealership had a Q7 with the quattro lights and switched them out for me.

Yeah, it looks cool but I'm more of a feature, functionality guy. Not that I can't afford $450 for this, just don't see the point after the first few times I open the door and see them. Will then be like the sky. Anyone ever look up anymore to see if it's still blue?

If you like them get some aftermarket for between about $80 and $200 - supposedly a very easy install - just unscrew old light and screw in LED ones.

I will say everyone who is in my car at night notices them and mentions them.

Aftermarket sounds good to me. Watch the dealer saying you voided your warranty. When I get my vehicle have to look for these. Hoping to order my q8 next week.
