Audi is giving me 6.4% off on MSRP for 2019 Audi Q8. Is that OK?
I am purchasing a 2019 Audi Q8 and with all the packages, it comes up to about 1270/month for a lease. This is with the 6.4% Off on the MSRP. Is this considered good?

without knowing way more details (price of the car, money factor, mileage, downpayment, trade in, incentives you qualify for, your state, etc), no one can tell you as it's essentially just a random number

Sorry, I should have included more details.
2019 Audi Q8 Technik Daytona Grey exterior with black interior Black Optics Package S Line Sports Package Driver Assistance Package, 22" Anthracite Black 5 V-spoke star design wheels Adaptive drive assist including emergency assist Luxury Package Lease term was 48 months, 20,000 km/year, interest rate was about 3.9%. monthly lease rate was $1270/month. The 2019 Q8 MSRP starts at 88,000 and with the all the packages, it came up to 112k CDN with taxes. Then, a 6.4% discount to get it to 1270/month. I believe the residual was 46%. Thank you for the feedback! |
Only people in Canada will have an idea, as the US uses different programs, trims etc

that is a HUGE monthly payment for a lease. Why not buy a pre-owned Audi with low miles? |

$85k cars don’t have low lease payments and it’s a far shorter commitment than a typical finance with none of the downsides of depreciation. I own my cars currently because I drive too much now. I can’t wait to lease again. Owning it offers me zero benefits as it drops in value every day, and that’s on my dime OP - what dealership is this? I know some people in Canada maybe I can assist (I work for Audi in the US) |

Is it? It’s under $1k a month usd for a car that is north of $80k usd easily based on the packages.

Hey! thank you for the comments, the reason we wanted to lease was so we didn't have to deal with the maintenance, depreciation, etc after the warranty ends. I am based in Toronto and this was the Audi Midtown dealership in Toronto.

It's about 60km from where I am so I could make the trip.
