Sorry for the delay. I don't drive the vehicle much. But the new MMI version is 35.12-2126

My dealer told me this is a HUGE update affecting many components. All settings were maintained except I had to relink my iPhone. I've had numerous issues with my '21 RS Q8. Hope this clears them up.

I have noticed a new (pretty loud) "drum roll" that plays when you when you turn off the ignition and open the driver's door. Sounds like 3 kick drums followed by a snare (bub bub bub crash). Anyone else getting this new behavior?

Yes, I hear it too, HDCL. Kinda makes me laugh. I wish the update had given my car 100 more HP .

I have noticed what appears to be a pattern with the disappearing heated steering wheel shortcut (which only started happening after the backup camera software update). If I drive the vehicle fairly frequently, the MMI seems to be in a more "awake" or standby state. If a few days go by when I have not driven, it seems to go into a deeper sleep state. I can tell this by when I start it up and the MMI becomes available immediately when in "light sleep" but takes a good 20 - 30 seconds with several "initializing" and "loading" messages before it is active from deep sleep. The shortcuts disappear after the deeper sleep when not started in 2 - 3 days.

That's definitely a newer version than mine one MMI Software version 35.12-2110-SNAPSHOT-09.03.2021-13:52:58

Does you have a release date too?

Does your retain changes to the AC config i.e. heated steering wheel button?
