I read obd codes and it was LVDS cable, no signal , code B1102F0
I will be reporting this to the dealer. I did not delete codes so they know what was the problem.

Anyone know how to restart MMI TOUCH? It would help. In Q7 it was like 3 keys pressed same time and MMI was restaring - it was big help in few situations.
Restart is hold volume button down for ten seconds.

Np, I used it once recently for the black screen issue and it worked! Resetting the Q7 (and the new X5) is more of a production. The implementation for the Q8 makes a lot more sense.

Thanks for reboot tip. I was wondering how to do it if needed.

Same issue in Europe. On delivery they noticed the screen problem @ the dealer in Belgium. They would fix it in a few days. Car is still @ dealership, since August 15. Audi Germany is trying to find the cause of the problem, but still in progress... Hope they can do faster than Boeing

Just had our first MMI BSOD with the new 2021 Q8. Shutting off engine and restart didn’t help. Turning off the MMI didn’t help. Resetting the MMI did the trick.

To reset MMI, press on the MMI power **** for 10 -15 seconds until the navigation resets. We did this while we were driving (called dealer service). Good luck

Weirdly, pressing the MMI power **** for 10 -15 seconds didn't work when this happened to me. Dealer also tried it when I pulled in. About 10 minutes later the tech said it reset itself as he was pulling the car into the service bay.

Thanks for sharing. Hope we don't get the BSOD again, but it's good to know that the same method won't work. Hope others can chip in with their experience.
On a totally unrelated note, why is *k-n-0-b" censored? weird.
