How to switch users?
 

How to switch users in the vehicle. Was in the vehicle yesterday, my wife used it earlier and somehow connected her phone to it. When we had to go somewhere later i wanted to use "Waze" and connect my spotify.I couldn't figure out how to switch users. Pressed home button went to CarPlay and it would only show her iphone Xs. Went into users and saw my phone but it wouldn't allow me to choose my phone. I eventually gave up and turned her phone off and took about a minute before mine would connect. After I was connected I turned her phone on and tried to switch users back to hers. Same exact thing happened I could see her phone but was unable to switch user.
Can someone please help me figure out how to switch users when more than one user is in the vehicle. Very frustrating
