With this active suspension control module you have the opportunity to use the full range of your air suspension and control it according to your wishes for each drive select mode and beyond. Since the new updated system uses Bluetooth to connect to a smartphone app no switching wifi networks is needed to access the controller. No additional buttons need to be fitted to the interior of the car and installation is discreet. The show mode function allows the car to be lowered to the maximum level with the touch of button in the smartphone app. The full drive select system stays intact along with all other wireless and Bluetooth functions within the car. Works with all Q8 models that have factory fitted air suspension!

Is the app the only way to put it in show mode?

Yes, the app is the only way to go full show mode which has the full "slammed" range. If you have your phone handy in the car, which most people do, open the app and just click Show Mode with the car on and down she goes!

Im really interested in this however Im really not interested in pulling my phone out every time I park to put it in show mode which is 90% of why I would buy this. I dont keep my phone readily available while I drive. I downloaded the app to see if there was any type of widget (Android) that came with it so I could simply put the show mode button on my home screen however there is not. Is there any way to contact them about this? Maybe they could develop one? I cant seem to find an email or website for the manufacturer.

Generally most users do not enter show mode every time they park. As the name suggests it's usually for shows or events. When you go to show mode at the lowest setting it takes a bit of time to air up the suspension as the factory air suspension pumps and reservoirs are not like aftermarket airbag systems that move a lot of air and have large tanks with pressurized air for immediate suspension response. You would spend more time waiting for the car to air up than it would take to get out a phone, open the suspension app (or swipe to it if it was open) and tap the show mode button.

If you want the lowered appearance most of the time I would suggest setting the dynamic mode how you like the car to appear most of the time. Then if you are at a show, event or just want to get some looks when parked use the show mode.
