Picked up Q8 today
I had ordered a factory car since they could not find my requirements, but after waiting 5 weeks without even getting a scheduled date, they look again and found what I wanted with the addition of a towing package. Pick up was very stress free with out any pressure from the finance office.

So far, great. Just drove it home and just started to learn all the new systems. I like the way the air suspension drops it down, clean dash, large back seat room. I’ll report more impressions once a get more seat time.

Congrats!! Love the color and the front plate delete. I hate that mine came with the front plate bracket. I’m assuming if I remove it it won’t look clean like yours. Please post some more pics of your interior. Welcome to the club!

Love the color - especially that brown interior! I wonder how different Samurai is from Daytona? It looks pretty similar in these photos.
jrjunior31 - for most Audi's you can remove the front license plate mount by ordering a front plate filler panel and it should look just like the one here. There are a few models though that require the grill to be replaced (bleh)

I did not delete the plate. It came from state that does not require them. I’m having my dealer get the bracket. I ran my MB AMG CLS without a front plate due to it really did not have a place to put one on.

Audi has cornered the market on different shades of Gray. Love their Grays. In cloudy conditions Samurai possibly has a brownish tinge whereas Daytona has more of a greenish, but I haven’t been able to check out Samurai as extensively as Daytona.

Another short drive impressions. Quiet, smooth, tracking works better with cruise turned on(more centered in lane). Tip in is longer than my A6.
Some factoids. Came with Hankook Dynapro HP2 plus 285/45R21 113H RA33D AO, Max pressure 50 psi is good for 2,535 lbs, inflation is suppose to be 35 front and 38 rear. Sticker says to use VW 50800 oil. The space below the cargo desk is fully packed. Car came with first aid kit and anti theft lug nuts.
Appears to have space between spare tire for emergency reflectors, but a bit too small for the ones I got for the A6. They barely fit along side the tire. The plastic caps covering the lug nuts are different than the A6. Have a groove that a small metal pick can pry at vs. the stamped metal twisters the A6 has.
Not much to look at under the hood, with large plastic cover.
