Hello all,

Just programmed our Q8 with the following options:
Scandinavian DRLs, Blinker 5 times, Parking sensor active up to 20mph, Gear display in D/S, Disabled sidemarkers, and Lowbeams with High beams active.

I followed the guide for my obdeleven and the googledocs above for the following tweaks but I could have sworn that our rear LED lights used to do the lock/unlock light sequence.

Maybe, I am a bit confused but in the US model Q8 with matrix equipped lights, the rear lights only does it's sequence during the night and not during the day. Is this default or should have the Scandinavian mod should have fixed this (to activate during the day that is)?

Thanks all!

Oh...anyone know how to increase the intensity of the front LEDs in "sidemarkers lights" mode? I know I programmed this for our A5 in the past but couldn't find the option in the Q8.

Big thanks to jrjunior31 for getting me all squared away. Successfully helped me get the light off my dash and setup essentially every possible adjustment off the google doc and a few other extras mentioned in the thread as well! Loving my Q8 even more now!

No problem, we need more codes now! Don’t be shy gentleman. The problem is we are the only Q8 owners with OBD so far I think, but soon we will have company.

Here’s another coding for Q8 not listed in the Google doc...

Double flashing of indicators at unlock to match the locking set-up:
  • 46) Central Module Comfort System
  • Adaptation
  • Turn signal control
  • Confirmation flashing unlocking central locking, flashing cycles
  • Old value - 1
  • New value - 2
  • Press and hold green check mark to save.

The factory locking set-up on the Q8 is barely audible. It can be difficult to be sure you’ve actually locked the car depending on the surrounding noise level. After making multiple changes with OBDEleven there’s now a double flash, double beep, and a much louder chirping sound at lock/unlock. Huge improvement!

Does the G-Meter really work? I can get it to show up in my S5, but the accelerometer hardware is missing and it never changes. Outside of the RS models, where it's advertised, I've only heard of it working on the S3.

G-meter could be fun. Not sure turning off fan after running hard is good idea.

No, doesn’t do anything. Only for show if anyone wants to display a different screen.
