Here's one for the team here.

I turned off all of the range restrictions for the keyfob in OBDEleven. I believe post doing that that I cannot close the trunk with the remote anymore. No matter if I stand right beside or right behind it.

Does this function still work for anyone else who has done the mod?

While this will not work for cars without the DAP, it should work for those that do.

Anyone tried this yet on the Q8?

It should work. Short and long range radar are on cars with the DAP, so no reason why this can't just be coded on!

Default OBDEleven AC Module??
I tried this coding for the Auto Stop/Start:
  • Air conditioning/Module
  • Adaptation
  • A/C comfort param for start/stop function
  • Old value - 5
  • New value - 0
  • Press and hold green check mark to save.
The problem was the OBDEleven app for Q8 didn’t even have Air Conditioning/Module listed anywhere so it couldn’t be done. Perhaps the A/C comfort param setting is listed in a different module I’ll have to look around for it. I wish I could increase the speed for the Parking cameras shutting off similar to past Audis. The 3D virtual surround image of the car is highly detailed it even shows the brake lights engaging. It would be nice to increase the shut-off speed to 20 mph. When selecting the setting for camera shut-off this message pops up...

Does the OBDEleven have the 08 AC Module..mine skips from 06 to 09. No access to the AC module that I can find for the Q8??

@jrjunior31 , can you please let me know if this still works if welcome/exit lights are turned off in the MMI? And if they are turned off, does the exit 'light' still function when you lock the car?
