Removing Exhaust tips on an SQ8 ?
 

Does anyone now whether the tips can be removed without taking off the rear diffuser or bumper ??

Very easy 5 minutes job. Just 2 bolts on each side accessible from below. To make it easier just lift up the car on the highest level. No need of any diffuser removal.

another question for you retom , are the tips on the SQ8 with Sport Exhaust gloss black or chrome , I note on the RSQ8 the Sport Exhaust is spec'd with gloss black tips

On 75% they are silver. You can buy black aftermarket but the price is crazy. The best solution is to remove them and paint. Even with the plasti dip. There is no high temperature.

I've painted tips on previous cars , certainly much cheaper than Audi OEM . hahahahaha
