Safety System Issues
 

I have had a few times where out of the blue all my safety systems disable one by one. No pre sense. No lane departure. No blind spot. Etc.

Happened tonight on my way home through rain. Not safe at all. Anyone had this issue?

This can happen on occasion depending on weather or sensors getting covered in road grime. Heavy rain or snow will get in the way of the sensors and the car will alert you of the condition. Once clearer, the systems work again.

I have had this happen while raining also. I've seen posts by others with the same symptoms.

I have also had this problem with spotless sensors and perfect weather. On the way to the dealer, it started working again. Since there were no recorded faults they took no corrective action. Luckily, it hasn't happened in a while.

Same happened to me last night. It is to be expected if the cameras can’t see in rain or snow. Happened on BMW and Acura.
