Seat keeps moving?

My drivers seat keeps moving back slightly after I leave the car. I have to press the memory button to make it return. The comfort access feature is turned off. Only 1 key is being used, 1 driver.

Any ideas?

This is the driver's and passenger's seat Entry Assistance setting that'll move the seat back and let air out of the bolsters when you open the door. You can change it in the MMI (Vehicle -> seats -> additional settings). I find it to be a nice feature, though.

Thanks but I already mentioned that feature is turned off. It only moved back when I lock and unlock the car, so this movement is tied to the key somehow. How do I reset the key?

Sorry, I misunderstood. If that's already off then I do think it might be the key and the user profiles associated with it. I believe the user profiles can be turned off completely or reset to factory in the User section on the main screen. Could that help?

Yes - you need to reassociate the profile for the key your using. When you get in the car what shows as the user on the screen? You may need to just delete all profiles and start from scratch. I had issue with my seat keeping correct memory to car when I had the 2nd key in the car at the same time (when 2 keys present it wouldn't remember last setting as it wouldn't know which key to associate with the seat setting). Be sure the 2nd key is far out of range - delete profiles - create new profile with your name and set seat etc. all with your preferences.

The memory buttons on the door to me appear completely separate from the seat settings associated with the key (ie memorizing seat position 1 on door doesn't mean its memorized there to specific key - I think of the door memory positions as automatic overrides to the key).

I was told that the memory buttons on the door are associated with a specific key. ie., position 1 = shiny key fob and position 2 = matte key fob

I set the memory to both 1 and 2 and it still moves. Ive deleted all user profiles and the key user info too.
