SQ8 - V6 or V8?
Looks like Europe is getting VW/ Audi's masterpiece twin turbo V8 Diesel that's also in the SQ7.
I can't find any info for this (Audi) neglected side of the globe. We know that unfortunately it won't be the diesel, but any info/ guesses if it'll be a V8 or V6?
I'd like to know if I'm staying with my S6 long term...

It will very likely be the 2.9L V6 from the RS5/Panamera S/Cayenne S. Just yesterday someone noticed that in the A7 owners manual it has the tire pressures for the S7 included with the engine listed as 2.9L V6. I went and checked and the A6 owners manual also has the S6 listed with the same engine (in case you are interested the A8 manual also lists a 4.0T V8 engine in the tire pressure section - the Q8 manual only has the Q8 with the 3.0L V6 in it). You can check them out yourself if you want at Audi Online Owner's Manual. You will need a VIN to access.
It is very likely if the SQ8 comes to the states this is the engine it will get. The last few SQ8 articles I have seen seem to suggest it might not be coming here though. Time will tell!

We know the 4.0T fits in the Urus. It would be a travesty to not put a V8 in an SQ8 but I also felt that way about the C8 S6 or S7 that ship has sailed.

I as well see different articles pointing at the 2.9L V6. Saw only one article implying the 4.0L (gas) V8 but who knows what he knows...
With all the cost cutting complaints I read here about the Q8, If 2.9L V6 is the U.S SQ8's future, as good as it may be - I'm out.
I'll keep my antiquated cockpit but very high quality built and amazing power-plant 18' S6.
