Default Winter Wheels Tires?

Has anyone found a winter wheel that can be used on these things? I don't want to spend a fortune and buy factory wheels but i can't find anyplace that lists a wheel that fits.
I have the 22's with all seasons but they will be useless in our Winters. I had an 18 Q7 with 21's with All season and they were not good at all in snow.
I probably would be willing to go with a black steel wheel if i can find the right ones.

I am checking with my dealer on this. Talked with them last week and they are checking with their tire tech guy. My vehicle due in January. Live in VT and always go down a size or two. Thinking of going with 265/50/20 to replace the 22's. You most likely could go with 275/45/21 also. There are much better options for 20inch and also the aftermarket wheels are in the 225 to 275$ range vs 350-400 for 22's. Nothing on Tirerack yet. But my dealer matches Tirerack wheel prices.
Good Luck

If I can find wheels, I plan to drop at least a couple sizes to 20 or even 19's. my experience last winter with the Q7 with All seasons on 21's was not a fun time.
if you get any info I would appreciate if you would share.

Taking delivery next week and where I live (QC) winter tires are mandatory. I got the 22" v-spoke wheels and there are not too many winter tires that fit. So, I found a set of 20" wheels on which I got Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 SUV tires fitted. The wheels are a perfect match to the OEM 20" for center bore, offset, etc. So no issues with the callipers.

Asked the dealer and they had only one wheel model listed with no picture, no price and no availability...

Lucci, you are heading in the right direction! Smaller wheels with larger winter-tread tires is the way to go!

Congrats on your Q8!

Default Going with Fastwheels

Getting my Q8 tomorrow. Suiting up for winter friday. I found third party winter wheels, from Fastwheels, that I find better looking the Audi's. For winter, I am going with 20" (I got the 22" for summer) and I will put Yokohama winter tires on. I'll let you know friday how it goes.

One trick after you get the wheels is to go to a website for larger tire maker like Michelin or Bridgestone. Try to find a tire size about the same diameter and circumferance as the factory. You may end up a little wider or narrower but then will have the speedometer calibration accurate. After you have the size then you can search winters for that size.

I called the dealer today, and asked if they had a winter tire/wheel package. He said they did 4 wheels with 4 Continental Conti's For 3300.00 I laughed before i cried, what a rip off.
He indicated that the specs are 5*112 and 8.5 wide offset of 20. Tires were 265*50R2.
Assuming i can trust that, it is pretty easy to find wheels that should work.
Converting the tire size from my original 285*40 -22's an 18 inch tire would be 275*60-18
I should be able to get a nice set of winter wheels / winter tires for under 1500.

Does anyone else have the data on the wheels? does the info I have sound right?
