Winter Wheels Tires?

Hey Guys, thanks for the info, I think that seals the deal on going with 20's instead of 18's.
The 20 offset is what comes on the Audi winter wheel and tire pack for this car.
22 offset, i am told by the dealer is 22 for the 22 in OEM Wheels
I found this site yesterday which suggests that the 22's may have an offset of 21: https://www.wheel-size.com/
Either way i think all of these sizes are close enough.

Just came back from my cottage. Drove through what I would call pretty harsh winter conditions. Love my Q8, and love my 20" Continental WinterContact 265/50R20. There is a 65 day money back satisfaction garantee on my Contis, but I will keep 'em. Would not go back to my blizzaks. And I agree with Norp and others : even if I could, I would not go smaller than 20".

Well if you have had both the blizzaks and the conti's and you feel the conti's are just as good as the blizzaks, that is what i will do too. Sounds like nothing to lose and if they wear any better at all it's a win!

I live in upstate ny and couldn't find the Replika r193's anywhere in the US, so I ordered a set in Kingston Ont w Blizzaks. The dealer spoke to Replika and said Replika made the wheel to be a fit for the Q8 (20"x9"). The tire store also said Replica commented that the 255/55R20 size will also work very well for winter tires.
Apparently these rims are backordered all over the place so, I am trekking up there this weekend.
Thanks for all of the great info.

Apparently there are other models available. When I bought mine, the Replika were the only ones. Look at the different catalogs available on fastwheels.ca for more options. HTH.

Took delivery of my Q8 today and had them install the Hakkas/wheels I got on it. Looks surprisingly good. Even got thumbs up from the dealers's valets on them. They are from RSSW: https://rssw.com/macpek/entries/view...61MGM/lang:eng and only cost $CAN 272 each. At that price, pot holes or curb rash are not much of a worry! Not sure if they are sold in the US but they do have plenty of retailers North of the border.

On page 251 in manual, "Warning-Do not use steel rims that are 17 inches or larger. Otherwise damage to the vehicle and an accident could result"
You also need to consider the load index requirements, and circumference so your speedo does not get messed up.
