2015 R8 MMI quirks?
 

Hi from the New Guy.

I looked for threads about this, but after searching 8/54 pages, I figured I'd do the Noob thing and create a new post.

MMI is not like other Audi's I've owned (Q5, S5, A5).
If anyone can shed some light on these topics below, I'd appreciate it.

1. MMI won't detect iPhone7 plugged into the OEM port, using Audi OEM cable (yellow trim) with lightning plug (from my Q5)
2. MMI won't play bluetooth audio from iPhone 7, but will play phone call BT audio perfectly.
3. Can't find way to manage connected phones (Bluetooth -> MMI)
4. What is current MMI update (tricked my car into telling me the installed version is 0230)
5. Does anyone know any hacks for the MMI menus (like accessing green screen, opening menu, etc)?
6. All media files list shadow corrupted files above a full list of the good files with same name. SD card was wiped prior to music install.
7. All media files show "[name].MP3" on MMI menu screen, but SD index on Mac shows no extensions as part of the filenames.
8. Can only play media from SD card? Even my 2013 A5 had a hard drive...am I missing something?
9 [Semi-related] Backup camera is very dim on MMI screen. Discovered ability to brighten it using the panel dimmer, but still not bright enough.
