Front license plate holder vs. front grille filler panel. It appears that if you want to swap out
one for the other that you have to buy the whole front grille for about $500. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes. I have a 2009 Audi TT Coupe grill filler panal with U.S. style license plate holder, which I would like to swap for a glossy black grill filler panel that does not have the license plate holder.
