Hi everyone,

I just purchased a used 2011 R8 Spyder with less than 20,000 miles and I'd like to purchase an extended warranty policy. As I've been ripped off in the past, I'm soliciting advice from those with more experience that I have with Audis. All feedback is greatly appreciated.

Three years ago, I bought my 2012 A7 and rolled 100K bringing it home. The original owner drove between north Orlando and Atlanta on a regular basis. She's at 160K now. I've had to replace some of the usuals, thermostat, engine mounts, coolant pump, over that time. A warranty might have saved me some money over that whole time, but probably not a whole lot. Would have made it more predictable spend, though...

I have been satisfied with the Audi Pure Protection extended warranty, sold at any Audi dealer.
