I don't know if it's just a concept design thing, but does anyone think the Avus-style roof intake from the V12 tdi could make it to the R10 production model? It seems like if they put the intake up there, that would free up the side blades to be used differently, for intercoolers or radiators etc. That might help solve the cooling problems they've had... Plus it just looks fantastic.

That's ok. I feel more for my boss. He and his wife just had their deals at Fox and Paramount "force majeured" last week. They're late 40s w/ kids in an industry where youth is essential.

As everything that was said out of Detroit indicates that the V12 TDI will be produced, not the V10.

I think you will see the V10 for sure, and the V12 TDI probably later. The V12 is going to be HEAVY - like 400 pounds more (heavy motor, beefier box, beefier chassis, etc).

And camera on the spoiler is a gimmick and no replacement for actually being able to see out of the thing.
