Sideblade Material & Finish

Audi has announced at least three types of sideblade finishes: the standard finishes which are available in a variety of colors (ice silver, brilliant red, apollo silver, quartz grey, night blue, lava grey, deep green, etc.) plus two optional finishes (oxygen silver and carbon sigma).
We know that the "carbon sigma" sideblade has a carbon fiber-type finish, but what about the finish on the "standard" and "oxygen silver" sideblades? Are they painted? Clearcoated? Stainless steel? Something else???

g/f was in a car with an oxygen silver sideblade last weekend, it seems to be clearcoated...
... finish is similar to the rest of the car's surfaces (definitely not matte or plastic-looking).

Seems that Oxygen Silver must be something more than just paint color
Audi UK is charging around $1,100 for the Oxygen Silver option compared to the standard Ice Silver (Carbon Sigma is around $2,200). Seems like there must be something more here than just paint color; maybe clearcoated aluminum?
