Just a heads up for a weird issue I had attempting to stream from my Google Pixel running Android 8 / Oreo. I bought the A2DP4AUDI bluetooth streaming cable and dongle. It's the only one I could find that had the Bluetooth 4.0 / EDR support for higher quality music.

Pairing and other setup was easy and worked. Ultimately it didn't work for me. With my phone specfically, it would skip every couple minutes when it was streaming. Rich, the owner, provided great support and sent me a Audi tech bulletin that indicated it might be my having too many contacts that caused the issues. Even deleting all my contacts still resulted in issues, unfortunately. My son's iPhone synced and ran perfectly, so I think it might be my phone or BT issues with Oreo. If I disconnected the Pixel from the car (no Phone pairing), everything was fine.

I sold my unit to a buddy with a Q5, and he's had far fewer issues. It's a shame - I would have liked it to work. Back to the old trusty iPod Classic.

I'm going to borrow the unit back from my friend in a couple months once my phone gets a few Oreo updates. If it works I'll respond back.
