Default 2014 Audi A8 BOSE upgrade

Hello friends....

I have got my car equipped with the basic sound system.. 3 months into using the car I didn't really like the quality.. so, I went and bought the full BOSE system speakers, amplifier and subwoofer...all OEM Audi parts.

I wonder is it just a swapping operation or is it more of wiring and coding ? because I went to the trunk removed everything got to the Radio R and stopped because I couldn't find the exact plug for the BOSE amplifier... Could someone please help with an advise.??

The Bose system uses MOST fiber optics to communicate with the MMI. I don't think the Base MMI uses MOST for audio. So I don't think it's possible to do the upgrade you are trying.

Personally, I would return all that Bose equipment ASAP before it's too late, and get some real aftermarket audio.

You'll get much, much better quality going aftermarket. And it will probably cost the same or less.
