Car: Audi A6 4G C7 2012 with MMI 3G+

My goal is to have Android screen mirroring on the cars' screen for Waze navigation and also to be able to control Spotify using the car's steering wheel buttons (next/prev, etc).

Right now, i'm using the following:
Android Samsung S5 connected to a MHL adapter which is connected using a HDMI cable to a analog converter which is connected to the RCA AMI cable
iPhone X which is connected as a BT handsfree.

Both phones are connected to the cars WIFI hotspot that uses a 3G sim.

The screen mirroring is working as expected, I have both video and audio available when I switch to A/V input option in the MMI, but obviously Spotify isn't controllable from the steering wheel buttons, so my question is,
Was someone able to use at the same time the MMI A/V option and the Bluetooth streaming for either the same phone or two different phones? For example, one phone for A/V input and one phone for Bluetooth handsfree/audio player streaming.

I don't know if it makes sense, but think of it this way: by default you can listen to radio or BT streaming and also view the car navigation the same time - I want to do the same but with Bluetooth streaming and A/V video input which are two different options in the MMI and cannot run together
