Is there an easy way to change this setting? About half the time I start the car ('16 S7), the audio is muted.

Also, is there any way to increase the 1000 song limit on playlists?

Thanks for all of the replies. I've narrowed it down to the key fob. With one of the keys, the audio will be muted, the other one works fine. I've reprogrammed the seat memory buttons with both keys, and still the same. Any other thoughts would be great.

Sorry you did not get any replies. I suppose there is some logic to having the mute function be an option per driver/keyfob. I'd be interested to find out how to program the mute or non-mute status to a keyfob. In my case, I would PREFER the mute to always be active upon starting the car. So far I can make mute 'stick' for radio and Sat, but not for media. So if you find out how to correlate the mute preference to a keyfob, a how-to post would be appreciated.
