Save yourself the trouble and buy a yellow top optima =)...you'll be thanking me in the morning...
Nice amps btw...=) I got a 500/1 and a 300/4....4 gauge everywhere..no cap...no trouble with dimming.....custom install on the battery though..terminals are backwards for euros...heh...

Yellow top optima...like $170...worth every penny...red top is their starting battery...(more)
you want a true deep cycle...that's what the yellow top is...it's designed to be used w/ decent sized systems...aka vibration resistant..spillproof...etc.etc..etc..best batteries ever made.

They used to sell an orange top with euro terminals....but that's not the problem....
the problem is the shape of the battery....it covers some of the mounting bracket holes where the stock battery is held down...no easy way around that...

The reason you want the yellow top is because it is a...
Deep cycle batt were as the red top is not. The reason you want the deep cycle is you can fully discharge the batt without any loss of power of the battery. Also your batt is a filter for noise in your car, if you discharge a norm cycle batt even once you loss some of the filtering cap. With a deepcycle you dont lose any filter cap.
