Default Dash Audio Display
Does anybody know if only certain brands of head units will allow for a display on my dash of the radio station/cd/tape when the unit is on? I heard only Blaupunkt is compatible with my display.

Default do you mean the trip computer display?
If so, nothing is compatible but the factory HU.

So what happens if I get an aftermarket stereo instaled? Will it just light up blank every time I turn on the head unit? Thanks.

It will be blank in the topmost area all the time.

Default From my understanding, none of them will work the dash display. But it 's a small price to pay for
the improved sound quality from an aftermarket system.
