i'm trying to adapt a mbz sirius antenna for use in another car...

this is the dongle that comes off of the MBZ antenna. note the large gold male conductor...

this is where that cable needs to plug into... note that its a finer gauge male gold conductor...

for referance, this is what the sirius antenna cable looks like (the one that was included in the kit)

so the way i see it, i need to clip off the end of the mbz dongle and put somehow attach the sirius antenna type connector. the cable is very fine and the connector is like an ultra small coax.

any suggestions?

What are you trying to hook up? Can you give us more details please?

The MBZ sirius antenna is strictly for sat tuner usage only...and I don't believe you can have it support regular radio. The work of two completely different systems. Hooking up and changing connectors probably won't solve this for you.

us the MBZ sirius antenna with an aftermarket plug and play sirius kit. FM / AM isnt a concern here. everything suggests that the mbz antenna will work fine, providing that i can find an adaptor, or come up with the cojones to spice a brand new (very fine) wire and attach a SMB connector.
