The medium or device is being loaded. Please wait
On my 2015 Q5, I am having an issue with the MMI and reading SD cards. Others have had similar issues in the past, but so far nothing works.
I have used a 32 GB SanDisk card with 14GB of .mp4 music stored on it. Operated fine until I removed it and inserted another SD card with an ebook, which evidently was an incompatible format. Reinserted my 32GB card, and got the message “The medium or device is being loaded. Please wait.” I’m still waiting! Have tried several times.
I have created a test card with only two albums, and this also goes in an unending loop.
Interestingly, all albums ARE visible if I select “Import” to Jukebox.
In the PC realm. a reset of the hardware would probably clear this up. No idea how to deal with the MMI system.
Any ideas?? Thanks.
